What is fame for you?
It is the result of my work. It affects me a lot and if for some reason at some point come to believe that someone in my very best, I have the affection of those who really want me to not fall.
Does this happen seventh season finally approaching the end of you and Detective Rush?
I think not. I’m your best confidant, despite my stubborn nature makes more of a mismatch. In addition, this season Lilly takes her romance with the agent’s vice Saccardo.
Cold Case has become a classic?
We tell stories of interest and with so many canceled our series became a survivor.
Now there are rumors that he will play the character Jimmy in the film The Book of Matthew, whose producer Brett Rickaby and Heidi L. Ifft.
The film is based on a play and talk about spiritual freedom and religious doctrine. It will be recorded in the summer of 2010 in New York and is scheduled to debut in 2011.
SBS: Nervous? What were you nervous about? DP:1st off, I knew that we were only going to have 17 days to shoot and the way that the script is set up, it’s chopped up, it has different cuts and it shifts out of sequence, some scenes, if you were to eliminate those cuts, and were to read them in a sequential order, they run 10-15 pages long. That’s a pretty long scene when it comes to film and TV world. I mean, when you’re on stage, its par for the course, usually longer then that.
SBS: Right. DP:When you’re doing a play, you’ve got several weeks of rehearsal… to be able to make that happen. Here we were looking at 1 week before we were going to start shooting. All of those elements made me nervous. But, I was really excited to be working with Mike and I thought the script was in a very good place. Alex and Jesse were very dedicated to what we were doing.
The actor Danny Pino is part of another piece of theater “Havana Bourgeois”. Havana Bourgeois is the story of the Cuban Revolution told from the point of view of an advertising agency in Havana. It follows the agency’s middle-class employees from 1958-1960 during the transition from capitalism to communism. Today, Cuba is the only authoritarian country in
the Americas. According to Wikipedia, Cuba is constitutionally defined as a “socialist state guided by the principles of Jose Marti, and the political ideas of Marx, Engels and Lenin.” The present constitution ascribes the role of the Communist Party of Cuba to be the “leading force of society and of the state.” In their book “Corruption in Cuba,” authors Sergio Diaz-Briquets and Jorge F. Pérez-López claim that Castro’s state-run monopolies, cronyism and lack of accountability turned Cuba into one of the world’s most corrupt states. The Cuban government has also been accused of numerous human rights abuses, including torture, arbitrary imprisonment, unfair trials and extra-judicial executions.
In 2001, Danny has shared the stage of the Theater in the play Up For Grabs with diva Madonna.
